    Rogersville faire...care to join me

    I'd love for someone or a few ppl to join me as I need a ride as I'm in cast and I'd be there Friday - Sunday. :D

     

    Hello Friends. Well it will not be much longer. The shakespeare and Friends Renaissance Festival will be here soon. The Celtic Celebration will be held in Rogersville, TN on June 2 and 3. Don't miss this one. Both days are packed with great entertainment including The Nickel Shakespeare Girls, the Brobdingnagian Bards
    ,The Village Washerwenches, the Royal Flush Performing Troll Company and more. There will be demonstrations of Heavy Highland's Games and Jousting. Farie drill sergeants will conduct a Fairy Boot Camp for Kids and there will be games aplenty including Highland Games for kids. And as with all Faires there will be street entertainers, artists, food, games, and period vendors. Hope you will come and have a good time.

    Admission $8 adults - $6 students and seniors (under 18-over 60)

    Children 12 and under free

    Located in Historic Rogersville, Tennessee. Rogersville is in the upper east side of Tennessee between Knoxville and Kingsport.

    How to get there:
    From Bristol on Interstate 81 take the Interstate 181 exit to Kingsport then take the Stone Drive / Hwy. IIw exit and go west to Rogersville. We're about 35 minutes from that point and you will see signs directing you to the festival site.

    You can also take the Greeneville / Bulls Gap exit from Interstate 81. Go to Bulls Gap and turn right "At The Red Light". You'll be on Hwy. 66 and it will bring you into Rogersville. Follow the signs to the faire.

    From Knoxville take Interstate 40 to 81 and exit at the Morristown / White Pine exit Hwy. 25E. Go towards Morristown till you see the Rogersville / Hwy. 11w exit and go east. You're about 20 minutes from Rogersville here. As you approach town you will see signs directing you to the faire.
